In colaboraton with the City of East Palo Alto, Menlo Fire District, the Red Cross, and FEMA, rEPAct educates volunteers about disaster preparedness for the hazards that may impact our area and trains them in basic disaster response skills, such as fire safety, light search and rescue, team organization, and disaster medical operations. he quality of our produce and are confident that you will love it too. rEPAct Community Emergency Response Team members will work with a local community youth coordinating structure, such as the Youth Community Services (YCS) and others youth serving groups in East Palo Aalto, to help facilitate a local community youth emergency management response and recovery effort before, during and after a disaster. rEPAct, with assistance from other emergency management entities, will help train volunteers to assist neighborhoods during a disaster and provide immediate support until professional responders arrive.
